PR 360 - Roundtable Consulting for Nonprofits serves as a public service project of the members of the Oklahoma City chapter of the Public Relations Society of America.

Local nonprofit organizations can apply to have a team of public relations professionals plan their special event or campaign at no cost. The free services are offered through PR 360, an annual public service event hosted by the Oklahoma City Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA).

“Through PR 360, many local nonprofits in our city can learn valuable tips on how to get information about their organizations and services out to the public and done on a shoe string budget,” said Miranda Wilson, co-chair of PR 360.

PR 360 is open to officially chartered 501(c)3 nonprofits without a full-time public relations practitioner on staff. Selected nonprofits will be matched with a team of PRSA members who will develop a PR plan for the nonprofit’s proposed event or campaign. The professional teams will present their plans to nonprofit representatives at the PR 360 luncheon on May 16, from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m., at the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma. The public service event will also include media panel discussion on nonprofit media and communications.

“PR 360 is a great opportunity to learn from professionals in the communications and media field what nonprofits can do to maximize their resources available and get the exposure they need,” Wilson said. “Each year, many nonprofits and PRSA members participate in this event and it allows everyone to walk away with new connections – which is extremely important in the field of public relations.”
