How do you manage your team amidst a technological transformation? The current workforce ranges from Baby Boomers to Millennials, and the distinctions between generations - their cultures, their expectations, their styles and their "toys" - have never been so sharp and diverse. Join PRSA February 15 as Bill Fournet, CEO of The Persimmon Group, provides the latest information with practical techniques to help managers and others develop an efficient and effective organization by harnessing their staff's strengths and understanding their various drivers.

About our speaker:
From restaurant manager to CEO, with senior project management and IT positions in between, Bill Founet paved this career path by paying attention to our greatest resource: people. Whether it was through a 10-month turnaround of a restaurant that was $100,000 in debt or managing projects nearing $2 billion in total, Bill's experience in leading high-performance teams has directly influenced the unique business philosophy and atmosphere that has created one of the leading small businesses in our region today. In his 20-year career, Bill has helped enhance numerous Fortune 1000 organizations, including AT&T, IBM, Boeing, and The NORDAM Group. Bill Fournet, who is hailed by colleagues as a rising entrepreneur, takes the same innovative approach to his programs as he does to The Persimmon Group LLC, the company he founded by the age of 32.

Bill FournetDrawing from his personal work experiences with leading aerospace, energy, retail, and government entities, Bill has created programs that make him a sought-after speaker on Leadership and Team Development, Business Strategy and Project Management.

He is an active member of his community, having served as vice president of his children's school association, as a Cubmaster and Assistant Scoutmaster, and a coach for youth sports teams. He also is a member of various business chambers and affiliations. In 2010, Bill was named the Small Business Person of the Year by his region's Metro Chamber of Commerce.

In July 2010, the Greater Oklahoma City Chamber commissioned a study that compared respondents' views of Oklahoma City to their views of five other metropolitan areas as aplace to live and do business. The results were a largely unflattering and challenging portrait, with many having a prevailing image of OKC as a dull, culturally bereft wasteland. If Oklahoma City desires to market itself as an attractive location, then we must work together to bridge the gap between what Oklahoma City has to offer, and how it is perceived. Join us January 18 to hear VP of Marketing for the Oklahoma City Chamber, Cynthia Reid tell us how PR professionals have a chance to help chance the minds of outsiders when it comes to marketing and promoting our great state!

Cynthia ReidAbout our speaker:
Cynthia Reid is the Vice President of Marketing and Communication for the Greater Oklahoma City Chamber and has been a communications professional for more than 20 years. As head of Marketing and Communications for the Chamber, she oversees national and regional marketing initiatives to promote Oklahoma City for economic development and tourism. She is also responsible for events, mediarelations, publications and image branding for the Chamber.

During her years with the Chamber, Cynthia's leadership has been instrumental in marketing and branding efforts. She helped lead landmark campaigns, including MAPS 3 and the Big League City campaign that helped bring the Thunder to Oklahoma City. She has overseen numerous successful county, city and schoolbond campaigns, including the $55 million county bond campaign that allowed the county to acquire the GM plant and lease it to Tinker Air Force Base, creating hundreds of jobs.
