Effects of Public Relations
Efforts on Tolerance and Respect:
Living and Working in a Diverse Society

OKLAHOMA CITY – The Oklahoma City Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America will host Michael Korenblit, who will speak on how public relations efforts can impact tolerance and respect in an increasingly diverse society. The meeting will be held August 16 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Nonna’s in Bricktown. With recent world events in mind such as the conflicts in the Middle East, immigration debates and recent hate crimes, it is important to remember that in Oklahoma, we live, learn and work in a diverse society. He is the co-author of Until We Meet Again, the true story of his parents love and survival in the Holocaust. He relates the events of the past with recent world events and helps us help our audiences understand other cultures and our own. Korenblit shows his audiences how respect for people from different cultures, races, religions and ability levels can become a way of live and help build stronger communities throughout the state of Oklahoma.
