Shadow Day 2007
“What can our grads expect?”

Shadow Day is back! This annual PRSA-OKC event gives area students the chance to team up with a professional and get an "inside" look into a real day-in-the-life in the Public Relations industry.

Our lunch presentation will feature Sam Sims, APR, PRSA Web site chair, to speak about the various entry level jobs available to recent and upcoming graduates, as well as the qualifications many employers are looking for. Drew Dugan, OKC Chamber Greater Grads, will give students an insightful look into the pros of staying in Oklahoma City after they graduate.

Shadow Day Agenda
9 a.m. to 11 a.m. - students shadow professionals at their place of business
11:30 to 1 p.m. - meeting at the Gaylord-Pickens Oklahoma Heritage Museum, 1400 Classen Drive (NW 13th Street & Shartel Avenue), Oklahoma City

***Because we'll have so many students joining us for this annual event, we'll be meeting at the Gaylord-Pickens Oklahoma Heritage Museum this month only.

Registration:
Students: Click on your school's logo to register to shadow a professional and to attend the lunch meeting. Register to shadow a professional by Thursday, Nov. 8. The luncheon price is $25 for all students.

Professionals: Please register to host student and to attend the luncheon. The shadowing portion of the day is free. Reservations for the luncheon are due by Friday, Nov. 9 by noon. The luncheon price is $25 for PRSA members and $30 for non-PRSA members.
