As students, it's important for you to become organized and to gain experiences through volunteer work and internships. It means paying attention to details like dressing professionally and arriving on time. What else?

It means signing up for events like Shadow Day on Wednesday, Sept. 15, 2010. Shadow Day will show you first hand what it takes to be MADE into a PR Professional. Go ahead and put this important date in your calendar because it's important to your future career.

During Shadow Day you get paired with a real PR professional who can show you first hand what their job is all about. They'll also give you solid career advice for landing that internship or job you want. Best of all, it's free to college students!

Registration Deadlines:
The last day to register to be a shadow or to shadow students is Sept. 3. The last day to register for the lunch only is Sept. 13.

The restaurant is located on the NW corner of Sheridan Ave. and Oklahoma Ave. The parking lot is located just north of the restaurant on Oklahoma Ave. PARKING IS FREE when you tell the attendant you are with PRSA Shadow Day.

Shadow Day is hosted by the Public Relations Society of America Oklahoma City Chapter and is open to all college students in public relations and related fields.
